Tim Smith - President
After 10 years of working for 3 of the largest financial services firms, Tim decided to leave to start Fairway Asset Management, Inc. He felt that by having his own firm he could add more value to his clients, while eliminating all conflicts of interest that can exist at large brokerage firms.
Tim grew up in Danville, California and attended Saint Mary’s College. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics. He met his wife, Keri, at Saint Mary’s. Tim lives in San Ramon with his wife, his son and his two daughters.
Tim currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interplast. Interplast is a non-profit organization that provides free reconstructive surgery to children in developing countries that were born with deformities, such as a cleft lip and palate.
When Tim is not working or with his family, his favorite place to be is in the middle of a fairway. (Although he is normally in a bunker, or out of bounds.)

Halena Shinn – Client Service Manager
Halena has over 8 years experience in financial services. She was a Senior Data Conversion Analyst with Advent Software. Halena grew up Dublin, California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University East Bay.
Halena lives in San Ramon with her husband and two young daughters. When she is not working she enjoys taking her daughters to Gymboree, the zoo, and the California Academy of Sciences. She still wants more sleep, but is a few years away from enjoying that.

Caroline Dowling- Project Coordinator
Caroline grew up in Atlanta Georgia and attended Mississippi State. Caroline began her career in advertising. She was as a media buyer, planner, and account executive for 15 years. She moved to California 3 years ago to be closer to her family.
When she is not working, Caroline loves hanging out with her 3 grandkids, Sam, Georgia and Tyler.

Angela Lucero - Client Welcoming
Angela grew up in Castro Valley where she attended Castro Valley High School. Angela is currently attending Diablo Valley College while she works full time. She as been a receptionist for over 4 years.
When Angela is not working she enjoys going to concerts and traveling. She would like to make more time for travel as well as live in Los Angeles one day.
